Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Koena Mitra Says, 'Hope CBI Is Allowed To Work With Freedom, Evidence Is Gone And It Seems Pre-Planned' -EXCLUSIVE

Sushant Singh Rajput who left the world on June 14 also left many questions unanswered. It's been almost two months now but the reason for his death is not known yet. As per initial reports of Mumbai police, the actor committed suicide by hanging himself at his Bandra apartment. However, his family, friends and many people from the film fraternity and politics felt there was something more to it and have been constantly demanding a CBI Inquiry in the case to get justice for Sushant. One such person is Koena Mitra who is now happy with the centre's decisions of letting CBI investigate Sushant's case but at the same wants them to have enough freedom of work. 

Talking to us exclusively Koena said, "I hope CBI is allowed to do their work with all freedom. Evidence is gone and it seems to be pre-planned but at the same time, I have immense faith in the judiciary also. I hope Sushant's family gets justice". The CBI inquiry was granted after Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh lodged an FIR in Patna against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and made some serious allegations. Since then, the Bihar government had requested for a CBI investigation in connection to Sushant’s case. And today morning the Centre accepted the Bihar government’s request for the CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput’s case. Ask Koena if she feels Rhea is the reason behind Sushant's death and the actress says, "Don't know, but father definitely knows better as his statement to police is nerve shaking. When he feared his son's safety and informed the police in February, why there wasn't any action taken by the law. She was dominating and controlling his life that's obvious now, but can't accuse anyone till the case is solved. I’m with his family for sure. Koena also feels Sushant's former manager Disha Salian's death is connected to Sushant Singh Rajput, "I think it has a connection. I feel Disha's case should be solved first to understand Sushant's case because everything is too complicated now. I would not like to accuse anyone in particular, but we can always stand up to demand justice, cos she can't".
