Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Re-examination Of Forensics By AIIMS Experts Hints At Discrepancies - REPORTS
The Central Bureau of Investigation stepped in to investigate Sushant Singh Rajput's death case after the Bihar Government requested the centre for the same. However, the CBI started with its investigation with full power only after the Supreme Court gave it a green signal. With Rhea Chakraborty being the prime accused in this case, the investigating agency is probing and accumulating all the necessary details. A team of doctors from AIIMS was also called in to re-examine Sushant's autopsy reports, the crime scene, that is, his house where he was found dead and more.

Now, as per IANS, sources in the Department of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology, AIIMS have informed that the detailed report will shed light on the circumstances the actor passed away. Hinting at discrepancies, the source was quoted saying, "If an inquest report, which carries crucial details about the circumstances in which one died, has certain discrepancies then it could be an important finding. However as the matter is subjudice, specific forensic findings cannot be shared." The report made by the forensic experts of AIIMS will be shared with the team of CBI officials only.

Earlier, the autopsy report carried out by the team of five doctors of Cooper Hospital revealed that Sushant passed away due to asphyxia caused by hanging. Any sign of foul play was also ruled out.




Sushant Singh Rajput died on June 14, 2020. As per the reports, he was found hanging in his apartment in Bandra. The actor was said to be suffering from depression.
