Sushant Singh Rajput Death: BMC Agrees To Exempt CBI Team From Quarantine; Investigating Body Needs Write An Email For The Same - Report
It was yesterday morning that the Supreme Court granted CBI probe in Sushant Singh Rajput's death case and pronounced its verdict in Rhea Chakraborty's petition seeking transfer of the FIR filed against her by late actor's father. This verdict was hailed by millions of fans and all the friends and family members of Sushant. As soon as the court announced its judgement, the CBI team, which has been formed to handle the late actor's case, jetted off to Mumbai to commence their investigation. Now, the question of them getting quarantined is arising, especially after the IPS Vinay Tiwari incident. The BMC, however, has issued an official statement to ANI on this matter.

The municipal body told the news portal that if the CBI stays for only seven days, they won't be quarantined. However, if they are planning to stay in Mumbai for more than a week, then they will have to write a mail for getting exempted and it shall be approved. "If CBI team comes for 7 days they'll be automatically exempted from quarantine if carrying confirmed return ticket, as per MCGM's existing quarantine guidelines. If they come for more than 7 days they've to apply for exemption via our email id, we'll exempt them," said the BMC commissioner to ANI.

Meanwhile, there are rumours of the Mumbai police carrying a parallel investigation in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case. Reacting to the same, Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deshmukh said, "The state government will think as per paragraph 34 of the Supreme Court order."
