Sushant Singh Rajput Death: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar Reacts To Patna SP Vinay Tiwari ‘FORCIBLY Quarantined’ In Mumbai: ‘Whatever Happened Isn’t Right’; BMC Responds

Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case has seen many twists and turns, and recently, Sushant’s father filed an FIR in Bihar, accusing Rhea Chakraborty of abetting Sushant’s suicide. Following this, a team of Bihar Police arrived in Mumbai and has been investigating the case. Bihar Police deputed one of its senior officers, Patna Superintendent of Police Vinay Tiwari, to assist the team in the probe into Sushant’s death in Mumbai. However, after he reached Mumbai, he was quarantined by BMC for 14 days. Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey stated that Vinay Tiwari has been ‘forcibly quarantined’ by civic authorities in Mumbai, and now Bihar CM Nitish Kumar has reacted to it.
In a tweet, Bihar DGP Gupteshwar Pandey wrote, “IPS officer Binay Tiwari reached Mumbai today from patna on official duty to lead the police team there but he has been forcibly quarantined by BMC officials at 11pm today.He was not provided accommodation in the IPS Mess despite request and was staying in a guest house in Goregaw.” Now, while speaking to news agency ANI, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said that whatever happened to Vinay Tiwari isn’t right and that Bihar Police is carrying out its duty.
Nitish Kumar said, "Whatever happened to him is not right. It is not political; Bihar Police is carrying out its duty. Our DGP will speak to them."
Meanwhile, BMC also issued a response and their statement shared by ANI on Twitter read, “Patna SP Vinay Tiwari has been quarantined as per the present guidelines for domestic arrivals at Mumbai Airport."
