Since the Supreme Court ordered the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to investigate actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case, the Special investigating team, SIT, is investigating every possible angle related to the actor’s mysterious death. As Sushant Singh Rajput’s autopsy report is being examined by forensics experts at AIIMS now, as part of the CBI probe, former Union Cabinet Minister, Subramanian Swamy clears the air whether AIIMS report will decide SSR’s death was murder or suicide, after some police official’s state otherwise.

Taking to his Twitter handle, former Cabinet Minister, Subramanian Swamy tweeted, “Some Police officials are briefing the media that the AIIMS post mortem will decide whether it is murder or suicide. How can they when they did not have the SSR body as in the case of Sunanda? At most AIIMS report can show what was done or not done by Dr.Cooper Hospital doctors.”

In his tweet, Subramanian Swamy mentioned how there are some police officials who are briefly the media wrongly. Clearing out the air regarding the AIIMS post mortem report, whether or not it will decide if SSR’s death was suicide or murder, the former Cabinet Minister mentioned that the report can only show what was done or not done by the doctors at Cooper hospital, at most. He also questioned how the forensic experts at AIIMS can decide if SSR’s death was by suicide or murder when they do not have the mortal remains of the actor.


Meanwhile, in his tweet, Subramanian Swamy also drew references from businesswoman Sunanda Pushkar’s death case to explain what he was trying to share. On the other hand, as reported by Republic, a few days back, AIIMS' forensic department Chief Dr Sudhir Gupta mentioned that the team will be looking into the possibility of murder. He said, “We will look into the possibility of murder. However, all probable angles will be thoroughly examined. The preserved viscera will be examined and the anti-depressants that were given to Rajput will also be analysed at the AIIMS laboratory.”

So far, the CBI team is investigating the case and has interrogated late Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, Rhea Chakraborty, one of the main accused in the case, brother Showik Chakraborty, and several others.
