Sushant Singh Rajput Case: Late Actor’s Domestic Helps Neeraj And Keshav Summoned By NCB, After Siddharth Pithani’s Arrest
A few days ago, it was reported that the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested Sushant Singh Rajput’s flatmate Siddharth Pithani from Hyderabad. He was reportedly arrested in connection with a drugs probe that came to light after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. Now, Sushant’s house help Neeraj and his cook Keshav have also been summoned for interrogation by the NCB, reported ANI. According to a report in Times Of India, Neeraj had earlier told the Mumbai Police in a statement that he had rolled joints for SSR and that after Sushant’s death, when he checked the box, he found it empty.

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14 last year, and Siddharth Pithani’s arrest comes almost two weeks ahead of the actor’s first death anniversary. According to a report in Mumbai Mirror, the Mumbai unit NCB arrested Siddharth from Hyderabad on May 26, and he was brought to Mumbai on a transit warrant that was obtained from a local court. A Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court in Mumbai then remanded him to NCB custody will June 1. Sushant Singh Rajput’s family lawyer Vikas Singh reacted to Siddharth’s Pithani arrest.

While speaking with Times Of India, Vikas Singh said that he hopes something comes to light from the ongoing investigation. Talking about Siddharth’s arrest, Vikas Singh said, “As far as the arrest of Siddharth Pithani is concerned it is a kind of poetic justice that he has at least gone to jail.”

The drug angle in connection with Sushant’s death surfaced when the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had been investigating Sushant’s death, and had shared alleged chats about substance use with the NCB.
