Today, January 21st, marks Sushant Singh Rajput's first birth anniversary post his sudden and untimely demise in June last year. The talented Bollywood actor would have turned 35 this year. On his birth anniversary, social media has been flooded with posts, pictures and videos, remembering Sushant Singh Rajput. Kangana Ranaut, who had been quite vocal in demanding justice for the late actor, has also dedicated a post to him. She wrote that she regrets not being there for him, and having assumed that he would be strong enough to handle ‘mafia torture’ on his own.

Kangana Ranaut took to her social media, and shared a few snaps of Sushant Singh Rajput. One of them shows the late actor with his telescope. Kangana, in her tweet, claimed that the ‘movie mafia’ banned, bullied and harassed Sushant, and while he had asked for help on social media many time, she regrets that she wasn’t there for him. Her tweet read, “Dear Sushant, movie mafia banned you bullied you and harassed you, many times on social media you aksed for help and I regret not being there for you. I wish I didn’t assume you are strong enough to handle mafia torture on your own. I wish ... Happy Birthday dear one #SushantDay.”

Meanwhile, Sushant’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti shared a collage of old pictures with Sushant Singh Rajput. She wrote a short but emotional caption which read, “Love you Bhai  You are part of me and will always remain so... #SushantDay.”


Shweta Singh Kirti also opened up about a step taken towards fulfilling one of Sushant Singh Rajput’s dreams. She announced that the Sushant Singh Rajput Memorial Fund of $35,000 has been set up in UC Berkeley. Read more about it here.
