Sushant Singh Rajput: Another Peaceful Protest Expected To Take Place On August 7 With Candles And Black Bands; Details Inside
After #CandleSSR, another peaceful protest to take place, to seek justice for Sushant Singh Rajput, on August 7. Advocate to Ishkaran Singh Bhandari to lead the event
After initiating digital protest, #CandleSSR on July 22, to seek justice for late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, another peaceful protest is expected to take place very soon. Reportedly around two million people across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram took part in the peaceful event. Now as per a report in Hindustan Times, Lawyer Ishkaran Singh Bhandari, who led that event, is now planning another one on August 7. Yes, that’s true!
For those, who seek justice for Sushant Singh Rajput will now be seen taking part in another peaceful protest. Speaking to Hindustan Times, Ishkaran said, “We request his fans and well-wishers to light a candle at 8 pm. Wear black bands on their forehead. You can also hold a placard or poster.” “People are worried, getting restless and angry, more so after the actor’s family lodged an FIR. We receive so many messages every day. To channel out their sentiment, I thought of starting this peaceful protest movement,” he added further.
Shekar Suman, who’s also seeking justice for SSR, also spoke about the new peaceful protest. He told the same portal, “People are ready to come out on the streets. And that won’t be the right thing to do in the current situation. These protests pacify them in a way and also drives the message home that we all collectively want justice for Sushant. We might go live on the day (August 7) and interact with the people.”
He added, “Ishkaran will be organising it because it’s his brainchild. These protests are a quiet manifestation of our anger. Let’s not get into legalities and technicalities, we just want to join hands together to get Sushant justice.” (ALSO READ: Sushant Singh Rajput Death: After Mahesh Bhatt’s Interrogation, Advocate Ishkaran Bhandari Raises Questions About ‘VIP Treatment’ And ‘High Profile Case’)
