Bahl’s Super 30, which is based on mathematician Anand Kumar. The film is set
to hit the theatres tomorrow (July 12, 2019), but the makers hosted a screening
for their close friends and families, last night.
Hrithik Roshan’s Super 30 has already gained momentum and critics are praising his unusual avatar in Super 30. But before the film releases, we bring to you the early prediction of the Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur starrer. For the same, when SpotboyE.com got in touch with Film Business and Trade Analyst Girish Johar, he said that he is expecting the film to do Rs 12-14 Crore business on first day, powered by a strong word of mouth.
Talking about the film, he told SpotboyE.com, “Super 30 is
trending quite well and after 2.5 years Hrithik is coming back. He is a huge
star and his fans have been eagerly waiting for the film. The trailer has also
done the trick and everyone is expecting the film to do well. Early reports
also suggest that Hrithik has done a fantastic job, as always and it’s an
excellent film. All in all, it’s poised to take a good start. It’s not a
commercial Hrithik film with song, dance, and action. It is more of a quality
film targeting the multiplexes kind of audience in top cities. I am pretty much
confident that the film will the hitting the right chord tomorrow onwards.”
Last night, SpotboyE Editor Vickey Lalwani rated the film with 3.5 stars and wrote, “I have always rated Hrithik as one of the finest when his role is complicated- Koi Mil Gaya 1, Guzaarish 2. Or is it the other way round? Now where do I place Super 30? 2 or 3? I am confused. The long and short of it is that Super 30 is one of the top three performances of Hrithik, till date. Imagine, he doesn't dance in the film! He makes you emotional. He makes you root for him. He makes your jaws drop at the pauses in his dialogue delivery. What else would you want?”
Talking about his performance he wrote, “Watch him in the
scene where he cycles to try and save his father from dying. Watch him in the
scene where he is tied on the railway track and the train is fast approaching
him. Watch him in the scene where he argues with his ex-employer and says that
he will not return to work for him. Watch him in the scene where he first
realises that he needs to bring about a change in this hopelessly materialistic
world.”
