Sunny Leone's 'masti' Film Will Now Need Court Clearance
Sunny Leone starrer Mastizaade is going to take a long time to see the light of day. The film has been rejected by the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal.

This is the second time in the history of Bollywood that a film has been rejected by the Tribunal, the first being Rajkumar Kohli's Jaani Dushman.

The film's producer Pritish Nandy has been told by the Tribunal Committee that he cannot show anything and everything under the garb of 'freedom of expression'.

We hear, the film had such explicit content that the Committee was left flabbergasted.

First, the Examining Committee refused to clear the movie (SpotboyE.com, May 18). Nandy then took his project to the Revising Committee. However, they too rejected the film (SpotboyE.com, June 3), saying that the film is in bad taste. Nandy, who was present at both the screenings, has no option now but to go to the Tribunal. The producer even used his political connections to get the film passed. However, it didn't help.

A source close to the film says, “Now, Nandy will have to take legal recourse if he wants to save the film.

"
We texted Pritish's daughter Rangita but she chose not to respond. Ditto for Milap Zaveri.
