Sunny Deol’s Bungalow Auction Notice REVOKED Due To ‘Technical Reasons’! Actor Will Keep His Juhu Villa-REPORTS
Sunny Deol saw himself in the midst of a controversy after a bank put on the block a property owned by the actor. The actor’s villa, which is located in the Mumbai’s posh area - Juhu, was earlier put on auction by the Bank of Baroda to recover a loan given to the actor. The amount was reported to be around Rs 56 crore. The bank even tried to recover the interest levied upon the loan. However, the back has now withdrawn the e-auction notice for Sunny Deol's Juhu bungalow, citing 'technical reasons.' 

As of Monday, August 21, a new notice was published which says that the sale notice has been withdrawn due to technical issues.


The notice for auction was reportedly released by the Bank of Baroda in a national newspaper on Sunday, August 20. They have now issued a corrigendum.

An India Today report quoted the excerpt released by the bank which read: "Corrigendum to E Auction Sale Notice dated 19.08.2023 published in The Times of India Mumbai Edition (Pg.3) dated 20.08.2023 with regards to Sale Notice in respect of Mr. Ajay Sing Deol Alias Mr. Sunny Deol Stands Withdrawn due to Technical Reasons for the below mentioned Property :All That piece and parcel of land bearing Survey No. 41 Hissa No 5 (Pt) CTS No. 173 of Village Juhu Taluka Andheri Mumbai Suburban Dist, Admeasuring 599.44 Sq Mtrs underneath a structure known as Sunny Villa situated at Gandhigram Road Juhu Mumbai 400049. Bearing New Municipal assessment No. 00121047 situated in registration District and Sub district of Mumbai Suburban."

Moreover, Sunny’s team confirmed the auction notice on Sunday, they said that the amount mentioned was not correct and also mentioned that the actor would be clearing the dues in a day or two.


To sum it up, the initial notice mentioned Sunny Deol’s real name, Ajay Singh Deol, the fact that his Juhu villa is named Sunny Villa and other loan details. Sunny Deol's brother, Bobby Deol, whose real name is Vijay Singh Deol, their father Dharmendra Singh Deol, and Sunny Deol's company Sunny Sounds Pvt Ltd were named as Guarantors and Corporate Guarantors for the loan that he had borrowed from Bank of Baroda, reported India Today.

The villa named ‘Sunny Villa’ is located on Gandhigram Road in Juhu, Mumbai. The land around was said to be auctioned for recovery of dues.  


The report also suggests that the land is 599.44 square meters and located on a piece and parcel of land bearing Survey No. 41 Hissa No 5 (Pt) CTS No. 173 of Village Juhu Taluka Andheri, Mumbai Suburban District.

Sunny’s rep had responded to the matter and said, "We are in the process of resolving this issue and the issue will be resolved. We request no further speculation on the same."
