Suhana Khan On Shah Rukh Khan: He Would Want To Hug Me, And I Would Push Him Back
In her first ever interview with a famous magazine, Shah Rukh Khan’s darling daughter Suhana Khan spoke about being SRK’s daughter and getting trolled at the brink of a hat. Here’s what she has to say…
Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter, Suhana has taken baby steps into
showbiz. Today morning, you woke up to the ultra glam pictures of her as she
stunned on the cover of Vogue magazine's August issue. In her first ever
interview, the star kid spoke about being “Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter”, getting
trolled and Bollywood plans and her answers are winning the internet, already.
While interacting with Vogue, the young girl was asked how
it felt being King Khan’s daughter. The diva replied, “I realised quite early
on that it was different for us. But I never really thought about my dad being
famous. When I was about five, he would come and drop me to school, and people
would point and stare. He wasn’t being addressed as Suhana’s dad, which is what
I wanted. It confused me. He would want to hug me, and I would push him back in
the car. I hated the attention, it made me very self-conscious.”
Further, when Suhana was asked how she deals with the hatred
on social media, she said, “At home, things are normal and everything is cool,
but the challenges are outside. I still find it hard because people feel like
they can judge you. Especially on social media. Pictures from my private
Instagram account get leaked. There are so many people talking about you. They
don’t know you, and they don’t know what they’re talking about, but they’re
just talking. And that can mess with your self-confidence. I keep telling
myself that haters are going to hate, but I can’t honestly say that I don’t get
upset by it. It’s annoying, but I keep telling myself other people have bigger
problems.”
Well not only Suhana, even King Khan spilled the beans over
her Bollywood plans. He said, “Suhana’s not working towards a promise of being
cast, she’s working towards being an actor, and she knows that,” he adds. “We
have friends who are very well-meaning and think of my kids as their own, and
they’re all happy and keen to launch her. Like Karan (Johar). But I keep
insisting that I don’t want them designed as stars, I want them to be launched
when they are good-enough actor.
