It’s a well-known fact that Shah Rukh Khan is very protective of his family. The actor on multiple occasions has spoken up about his affection for his loved ones. His daughter Suhana Khan, who made her much-awaited Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies, an adaptation of the well-known comic series, holds a special place in his heart. As she turns a year older, his old interview has resurfaced on the internet, where he had shared 7 dating rules for his daughter’s potential boyfriend to follow.
It was in 2017, during an interview with Femina Magazine, SRK was asked about the rules his daughter’s potential boyfriend might have to follow in order to date her. Opening about the same, he shared 7 points that are necessary for Suhana’s future boyfriend to follow. Quoted by Bollywood Life, the 58-year-old actor said, “1. Get a job. 2. Understand I don't like you. 3. I'm everywhere. 4. Get a lawyer. 5. She's my princess, not your conquest. 6. I don't mind going back to jail. 7. Once the interview became one of the most discussed topics of the year, the Jawan actor clarified that it was a false bravado as he would accept the partner his daughter likes. Talking about the same to NDTV, he said, “It's false bravado. I know that when it will come down to it, when my daughter likes somebody, I'll not be able to say anything and just accept it. Before it happens, I thought I'll just put this out, just in case somebody reads it and thinks they should respect me a little more than they can, and take it seriously. For those who don’t know, over the past year, it has been heavily rumoured that Suhana is dating Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The dup worked together in The Archies. From reports stating that they have introduced each other as their partners to their family to getting spotted by the paparazzi attending get-togethers at each others’ houses, the alleged couple has been stealing all the spotlight.
