Star Vs Food: Janhvi Kapoor Reveals She Once Hid In Her Car's Trunk To Evade Paparazzi; Says 'There’s Always A Blanket In My Car'
Janhvi Kapoor was the first guest on the second season of ‘Star vs Food’, where popular film stars prepare a restaurant-quality meal under the tutelage of a masterchef. Right from sharing several anecdotes about herself to revealing an embarrassing incident from her youth days, the actress was surely at her candid best. Janhvi also spoke about how she sometimes hides from the paparazzi in her car. The actress shared a funny incident where she hid in the boot of her car to evade shutterbugs.

Janhvi mentioned that she always has a blanket in her car and that she often hides herself in the trunk of her car to avoid the paparazzi. While preparing some Korean dishes with her trainer Namrata Purohit, Janhvi said that once photographers were literally chasing her on bike and she had to hide in her car’s trunk that day.

Namrata revealed all about Janhvi escaping the paparazzi around town in a fun banter. She said, “There was this one time, for some reason she didn’t want to get clicked at the gym. So, she told me ‘Namo, you have to help me, they can’t see me, they can’t click me whatever.’ So, we sent her car outside. I felt like a horrible person because those guys outside are actually sweet guys. But it was just like a situation that she needed to get out of that day. So, her car went the other way and the paps followed her, then she jumped into my car and we had gotten out and then we had like this whole chase going on. I felt like I was in a Fast and Furious movie.”

While explaining herself and her bizarre escape plan, Janhvi added, “Because I wasn’t supposed to be at the gym, I was supposed to be home, tired and sad. They were literally chasing us on bikes, and we were going around in her car and we had to stop at some dingy location and then I had to get back into my car. You know the amount of times I have hid in the trunk of my car? So many times! There’s always a blanket in my car. There’s always a blanket every time I am at a place I am not supposed to be at or with someone I am not supposed to be with.”

On the episode, Janhvi attempted to cook a Korean rice dish, Bibimbap along with seafood scallion pancakes named Haemul Pajeon.
