Sridevi To Receive Guard Of Honour: Body To Be Draped In Tricolour, 3 Gun Shots Will Be Fired
The latest coming in from Sridevi’s prayer meet is that the legendary actress will receive the Guard Of Honour from the police officials once the ritual concludes

Meet is currently underway at Celebration Sports Club, Lokhandwala and
stars including Hema Malini, Aishwarya Rai, Sushmita Sen, Jacqueline Fernandez,
Madhuri Dixit, Arbaaz Khan, Ajay Devgn and Kajol among others have been spotted
at the venue.
Now, we hear,
Sridevi will receive Guard Of Honour from the police officials as she was the a
recipient of the Padma Shri. A police band will first wrap the mortal remains
in the Indian Flag and will follow that up with 3 gun shots as a symbol of
respect for the late actress.
We had told you
that about 40-45 buses full of Miss Hawa Hawai's fans had started from Chennai
and Hyderabad last night and are at the prayer meet venue.
Meanwhile, a bevy
of stars such as Rekha, Waheeda Rehman, Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Shah Rukh
Khan, Salman Khan, Gauri Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Karan Johar,
Manish Malhotra, Tabu, Rani Mukerji, Shabana Azmi, Javed Akhtar and Karisma
Kapoor among others visited Anil Kapoor’s residence (in the past three days) to
extend their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family.
Sridevi’s mortal remains were brought
back to Mumbai at 9.40 pm last night. Earlier
in the day, Arjun Kapoor had flown out to Dubai to be by Boney’s side in the
time of crisis. The actress’ case stands closed by Dubai authorities and the
final medical report states the cause of death as ‘accidental drowning’.
