Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s Sooryavanshi is one of the most awaited films and needless to say that fans are quite excited about it. This Rohit Shetty’s directorial venture has already grabbed eyeballs since the announcement of the film. From Katrina and Akshay coming together after a hiatus of 9 years to Rohit adding another film to his cop-universe and having two mega cameos of Ranveer Singh’s Simmba and Ajay Devgn’s Singham, Sooryvanshi has the perfect recipe to be a blockbuster. Akshay and Katrina have wrapped up the shooting for this film recently but it seems a few parts are still remaining to be shot. These scenes became the cause of a traffic jam in Mumbai. 
 
Recently, we stumbled upon a few on-the-sets photos where Akshay was caught shooting an action sequence for Sooryavanshi. The pictures of the same made their way to the internet and are going viral. In the pictures, Akshay is seen in his police uniform while interacting with his crew. We can also see a few cars stuck in the traffic jam for long hours near the Sea link and fans have taken pictures and shard them to the social media platforms. 


Talking about the film, Kumar will be essaying the role of DCP Veer Sooryavanshi and chief of the anti-terrorism squad. Katrina Kaif will play Akshay's wife. The film is also produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions.






Sooryavanshi is a part of Shetty’s cop universe that includes Ranveer Singh's Simmba and Ajay Devgn's Singham, who will also make a significant cameo in the film. The film which was supposed to hit the big screens on Eid 2020 will now be releasing in March 2020.
