As reported earlier, director Rohit Shetty and the Sooryavanshi team have kept October 21 as the first big day for the grand promotional campaign of the film. On this day, Akshay Kumar, Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh’s song will be launched amid fanfare.

The Sooryavanshi team plans on launching the second song on October 24, and it will reportedly feature Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif.

Katrina Kaif and director Rohit Shetty are currently promoting the film as Akshay Kumar is busy shooting for his other project in Ooty. The actress was recently seen sporting a Sabyasachi saree as she dolled up for the promotions.

For the unversed, Sooryavanshi is the fourth film in Rohit Shetty's cop universe after Singham, Singham Returns and Simmba. It features Akshay Kumar as Anti-Terrorism Squad chief DCP 'Veer Sooryavanshi'. The film also stars Jackie Shroff, Gulshan Grover, Abhimanyu Singh, Niharica Raizada, Vivan Bhatena, Sikandar Kher, Nikitin Dheer and Jaaved Jaaferi in pivotal roles. Ajay and Ranveer will be seen in extended cameos.

Sooryavanshi was originally scheduled to release on March 24, 2020, but was delayed multiple times due to the coronavirus pandemic and the shutdown of theatres across the country.
