Sonu Sood Stopped From Meeting Migrant Workers At Bandra Station? Actor DENIES Reports
Sonu Sood is a shining example of how famous personalities, celebrities and people with power can use their privilege to help those in need, especially during such challenging times. Sonu Sood’s relentless effort in sending migrant workers back to their hometown is commendable and his selfless act and support during times of a crisis is being praised by one and all. The actor is doing his best, right from arranging buses, trains to even arranging a flight! A report on the Internet claimed that the actor was stopped outside the Bandra Terminus from meeting labourers.

Mumbai's Nirmal Nagar police station's senior inspector Shashikant Bhandare told PTI, “The actor was stopped by the RPF, not by us. He wanted to meet labourers who were going to their native place. We have not received any complaint regarding this till now." He reportedly reached the station on Monday night to meet some labourers when he was stopped. The labourers were going to take the Shramik Special train from Bandra Terminus, and its destination was Uttar Pradesh.

However, Sonu Sood has denied these reports and in his latest tweet, he wrote, “Just to set the record straight - I was not stopped from entering the station. I absolutely respect the protocols and have duly followed it. I had requested the state government for the train so that I could send the migrants back home to reunite them with their families.”

Sonu Sood further added in another tweet, “As there were almost two thousand people. I am extremely thankful to the state govt, Hon. CM Uddhav Thackeray ji @CMOMaharashtra @AUThackeray @AslamShaikh_MLA for helping me bring a smile on the faces of all migrants! Jai Hind.” ALSO READ: Sonu Sood Urges People To Send Only Genuine Requests As Tweets Seeking Help During Migrant Crisis Go Mysteriously Missing
