Sonu Sood REACTS To Hindi Debate After Ajay Devgn-Kiccha Sudeep Twitter Spat; 'Don't Think Hindi Can Be Called Just The National Language'
Recently, Kiccha Sudeep said that "Hindi is no longer the national language." This didn't go down well with Ajay Devgn who took to Twitter to say that he does not agree with the Kannada star. After that, Kiccha gave a befitting reply to Ajay in a series of tweets. The actor clarified that his statement had been lost in translation and he did not intend to provoke anyone. Ajay later called Kiccha his 'friend' and thanked him for clearing the misunderstanding.

For the uninitiated, Sudeep made the comment while speaking about the success of South films like RRR, Pushpa: The Rise and KGF: Chapter 2. And now, Sonu Sood, who has worked in a number of films down South, shared his thoughts on the Hindi language debate.

Speaking to Indian Express, Sonu said, "I don't think Hindi can be called just the national language. India has one language, which is entertainment. It doesn't really matter which industry you belong to. If you entertain people, they will love you, honour you and accept you." Talking about the success of South films, Sonu said that it will "change the way Hindi films will be made and filmmakers now need to respect the audience's sensibilities." The actor added, "Gone are days when people used to say 'leave your mind behind'. They won't leave their mind behind and shell out thousands of rupees on an average film. Only good cinema will be accepted."

On the work front, Sonu has interesting projects in the pipeline. The actor will be seen in Acharya with Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan. The actor also has the Tamil film Thamilarasan. He will also be seen in Prithviraj with Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chhillar and Sanjay Dutt.
