Sonu Sood Reacts To A Mutton Shop Named After Him; Tweets, ‘Can I Help Him Open Something Vegetarian’
Sonu Sood suggested he could help a man open something vegetarian in a tweet. The actor reacted to a poster of a mutton shop named after him that surfaced on the internet
In the last one year, we saw parents naming their newborn and streets being named after actor Sonu Sood, as he is working round the clock helping people battling COVID-19. Today, he reacted to a news piece that reported about a mutton shop named after him. Unlike the usual times, where he pays his gratitude towards people, he had a rather funny reply. In his reply, he revealed being a vegetarian and hence he suggested if he could help the shop owner to open something serving vegetarian.
Sharing the news video, giving a glimpse of this mutton, he replied in his Tweet, “I am a vegetarian.. N mutton shop on my name? Can I help him open something vegetarian” In the video, we can see a huge poster of Sonu Sood outside the butcher shop. The actor’s fans spoke about the gratitude the shop owner has for the actor’s kind deeds towards the needy. In the recent past, some of the people also poured milk on a huge poster of the actor, thanking him for his efforts for the people affected by the deadly Coronavirus.

One of the fans clarified that the shop is not named after the actor, but the owner is selling meat for Rs. 650 instead of Rs. 700 and has been donating Rs. 50 to the actor’s foundation working for helping people affected due to this pandemic. "Bhai, the vendor of the Shop is selling mutton at 650rs per kg where the price is around 700 per kg, and he has decided to transfer the 50rs per every kg to your foundation, to tell you that we are all with you and support you.. good decision kannaya #Telangana #Karimnagar," tweeted his fan. During the first wave of COVID-19 in 2020, Sonu helped migrant workers reach their homes stuck due to lockdown, during the second wave, the actor has arranged for medical facilities, oxygen cylinders and generators and hospital beds for patients battling COVID-19 pandemic.
