He became the messiah for the ones stranded in the city.  The actor has been actively helping people ever since. He has provided essentials to ones in need and helped many cope with other problems. With Sonu Sood’s philanthropic work, many have suggested he should foray into politics. However, the actor has maintained that he has no plans to join politics. On Twitter, a user suggested that Sood must consider joining politics, considering he has a platform now.

The Twitter user tweeted, “Aap bhi Rajneeti main aa jao sir ji , Platform to bana liya hai (sic)." Moving on, after the tweet caught Sonu Sood’s attention, the actor responded with an apt and humble answer. He said that politics happens on the platform and work on the ground. On the other hand, Sood recently shared his two cents on the Covishield vaccine and its prices. Earlier, the actor arranged for 10 oxygen cylinders in Indore for patients battling the virus.
