Sonu Sood And Farah Khan Team Up For A Music Video; Actor To Don The Avatar Of A Cop-Deets INSIDE
Sonu Sood and Farah Khan have reportedly joined hands for a music video. They are currently in Punjab shooting for it.
Sonu Sood is one of the most talented actors in Bollywood, and one of the most loved too -- owing to his philanthropic work during the lockdown. He was recently seen in the Punjabi music video Pagal Nahi Hona with singer Sunanda Sharma. And it seems like the handsome actor wants to explore more of this medium as he is now collaborating with Farah Khan for a new music video.
Yes, you read that right! Sonu and Farah, who have earlier worked together in Happy New Year, recently joined hands for a music video project. According to a report in the Times of India, the actor and director duo has reunited for a reprised version of the cult classic 'Tum to thehre pardesi'. Crooned by Altaf Raja, this song was popular in the 90s. And now singer Tony Kakkar and Raja have teamed up to recreate the track.
The report also says that the revamped version of the song will be released on Sonu’s birthday, on July 30. The shooting for the upcoming track has already started. Set in Chandigarh, the peppy track will feature the actor in the role of a farmer-turned-cop.
While confirming the news to IANS, Sonu Sood shared, “This song will be something very different from anything that I've ever shot before. It's always wonderful to work with Farah.”
The movie Happy New Year was headlined by Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
