Sonam Kapoor Receives Backlash On Her Tweet About Atal Bihari Vajpayee's Death
Internet users may never change. Their formula is 'No Mercy'. Sonam Kapoor is experiencing this for one more time, blame it on her error in her tweet about Atal Behari Vajpayee's demise...
Bollywood stars are no strangers to online trolling. While some give it back, but for many it hardly matters. After getting trolled for her views on meat ban and nepotism, Sonam Kapoor has became the target of Internet trolling yet again.
Former Prime Minister Of India, Atal Bihari Vajpayee passed away on Thursday in Delhi. Several Bollywood personalities mourned his death- Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Vivek Oberoi and Dhanush tweeted their condolences. Others who wrote fondly about Vajpayeeji included the iconic Lata Mangeshkar, Esha Gupta, Boman Irani and Randeep Hooda.
Unfortunately, Sonam Kapoor who posted her condolence with a picture of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a day later on her Instagram account, happened to write, “India lost a gem today. Atalji was a great leader, politician and above all, a man with a vision to spread the message of love & togetherness. His words of wisdom will inspire us forever. My condolences go out to his family & friends. Rest in peace.” The error was the word 'today'. She should have written it 'yesterday'. Bas phir kya tha? Some Internet users pounced on the opportunity and had a field day, criticising her.
