Sonam Kapoor Calls Meat Ban 'Misogynistic'


When you have Sonam Kapoor, you can be sure of a foot-in-the-mouth instance.

So this time around, the actress took it upon herself to give her expert opinion on the meat ban in Mumbai. You see, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has banned meat in the city for four days during the Jain fasting season of Paryushan.

Sonam criticised the ban on Twitter, explaining how our country was getting increasingly intolerant. So far, so good.

And then comes the classic Sonam moment. The actress implied how the banning of meat was misogynistic. Err....how does one connect meat with misogyny?



Not surprising then, the actress was instantly trolled for this blunder.
