Actress Sonakshi Sinha made her debut in the Hindi entertainment industry with Salman Khan-Sonu Sood starrer Dabangg. Over the years, she made a name for herself by working in strong female-led projects. Her recent project Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is proof of that. Having portrayed the role of Rehana and Fareedan Jahan, a mother-daughter duo, she has been receiving praises from the netizens. She recently opened up about choosing her projects carefully and how she always informed the filmmakers that she wasn’t comfortable performing intimate scenes in her movies and shows.
In an interview with ETimes, the 36-year-old actress explained that despite not doing kissing scenes or intimate scenes in her movies and shows, she is on her ‘35th film now’. She stands by her statement. She went on to elaborate that she never felt like she lost out on anything “that has had a kissing scene or intimate scene.” Sonakshi went on to reveal that she always informs the filmmakers she is working with that they are free to go with someone else if they are not okay with her decision. Quoted by India.com, the Rowdy Rathore actress said, “I’ve always made it clear to my director, the filmmaker with whom I’m working that ‘This is something I’m not comfortable doing.’ It is totally up to you.
