Over the years, Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry with her versatile acting performances. The only daughter of veteran actor Shatrughan Sinha, she made a debut with Salman Khan starrer Dabangg and has gone on to break many stereotypes surrounding actresses with her appearances and script choices. As she made her foray into OTT with Dahaad, she has now added another feather to her cap by buying an apartment for herself.
Yes, you read that right! The actress has reportedly bought a luxurious apartment for herself in the Bandra Reclamation area. Being one of the wealthiest localities in Mumbai, the locality is known for its sea-facing houses. According to a report by BollywoodShaadis, Sonakshi bought the apartment in a high-rise sea-facing building at a whopping price of Rs 11 crores. Quoting the documents shared on an online website Zapkey, the apartment was bought on August 29, 2023 and sold by Pyramid Developers. The media publication further states that the 36-year-old bought the lavish place under a project called ‘81 Aureate,’ which is developed by the MJ Shah group on KC Road. The report states that she paid a hefty amount of Rs 55 lakhs for stamp duty and Rs 30,000 as registration fees. The Double XL actress’ flat comes with a 2,208.77 sq ft. carpet area as well as a 348.43 sq ft. additional area, which consists of a lobby, servant quarters and toilet. The apartment is on the 26th floor, the top most, of the building. She also has a 1,653.67 sq ft terrace, which includes a parking space for around four cars. It is to be noted that Sonakshi and her team are yet to officially confirm the news.
On the work front, Sonakshi Sinha was last seen in Dahaad co-starring Vijay Varma and Gulshan Devaiah. Currently streaming on Netflix, the crime-thriller was very well received by the audiences and critics.
