However, Sohail was quick to clarify the situation. Speaking to Hindustan Times, he refuted the dating rumors, stating, "No, it is not true. She is just an old friend of mine." His remarks put an end to the speculation that had begun after a paparazzi account on Instagram shared a post suggesting that he was spotted on a dinner date with his supposed girlfriend. A video posted by Instant Bollywood showed the 53-year-old actor leaving a Bandra restaurant with the woman in question and then getting into his car without engaging with the paparazzi. The video was captioned, "Sohail Khan with his girlfriend spotted post dinner date," further fueling the rumors.
Sohail's personal life has been under scrutiny since his separation from Seema Sajdeh, with whom he tied the knot in 1998. The couple, who had been living apart for a few years, officially filed for divorce in 2022. They share two children, Nirvaan and Yohan. Despite the end of their marriage, Sohail has spoken candidly about his views on relationships.
