Shoojit Sircar Shares A Message For Bollywood On Their Protest Over Morality
Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar has been entertaining the audiences with his films. As the director is gearing up for his upcoming film Gulabo Sitabo, Shoojit Sircar took to his social media to share a message for Bollywood and their protest over morality
Filmmaker Shoojit Sircar is currently gearing up for his upcoming Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Gulabo Sitabo. The film has been shot in major parts of Lucknow, and almost created huge chaos as many Big B fans rushed and gatecrashed the sets of the film. Shoojit Sircar’s Gulabo Sitabo was wrapped up recently, in terms of the shooting schedule, and the filmmaker is busy with his work commitments. While Sircar is constantly on social media, the director often takes a stand on the wrong happening. Today, Sircar took to his social media to share a message for Bollywood and their protest over morality.
Shoojit Sircar took to his Twitter to share a message with his fellow friends in Bollywood. Hinting on to the stand many Bollywood celebrities have been talking at social issues, Shoojit Sircar requested Bollywood to bring about a change in themselves first. The filmmaker tweeted, “Bollywood pahle hum to sudhar jaye... phir gyaan de duniya ko... naitikta( morality) per gyan ya protest zaroor karein lekin sath me pahle apna filmy ethics chk karo..pahle hum apne duality ko sudhare..” As Sircar has a huge fan-base on social media owing to his films, the filmmaker received a lot of applaud for taking a stand against Bollywood. While in the Tweet, Shoojit Sircar does not clearly give away the reason behind his this message, the message talks about how Bollywood often talk about morality and principles of morality but indeed land up not following it themselves. Recently, there has been a lot of anguish in the country regarding the Hyderbad Rape case, in his tweet, Shoojit Sircar asked Bollywood to keep a check on their filmy ethics before protesting about morality. Well, as we know for sure how many films often sensationalize the gruesome topic of sexual abuse, Sircar asks Bollywood to bring about a change in their Duality.
Meanwhile, Shoojit Sircar’s film Gulabo Sitabo is set to release on February 28, 2020.
The director is also gearing up for his movie Sardar Udham Singh starring Vicky Kaushal which is slated to hit theatres on October 2, 2020.
