Shah Rukh Khan & Anushka Sharma's Jab Harry Met Sejal Runs Into Censor Trouble
Pahlaj Nihalani is back with his scissors. His latest victim is Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma starrer Jab Harry Met Sejal. He has expressed a strong angst against the airing of the mini trailers that the team has released on TV, which were passed by the CBFC for airing only on the web.

According to Pahlaj, the filmmakers of Jab Harry Met Sejal were supposed to come back to the CBFC with a corrected version of mini trailers. However, the team didn't pay head to their advice and has released promos on TV which were meant only for digital consumption. According to an ANI report, “Film clippings being run on TV need certification, it is a rule. Content meant for digital is being run on TV. If there is a word/visual that doesn’t fit rating desired by the producer, we ask them to make a correction. The film being talked about, we haven’t given certificate to that particular promo. They are yet to get back to us with correction.”

Not just Pahlaj, even Ashok Pandit, who is a member of the CBFC, had expressed his objection for the use of the word 'intercourse' in the TV trailer.

There is no clarity yet from the makers of the film as to whether or not they will stop airing those promos on TV.

Coming back to Jab Harry Met Sejal, Shah Rukh recently promoted the film in Ahmedabad. Here are a few pics from the event:

Jab Harry Met Sejal hits theatres on August 4. But will they have more censor troubles coming their way before the theatrical release? Well, only time will tell.
