Bollywood actor and filmmaker Salman Khan has made a name for himself in the Hindi film industry with his hard work and dedication. His friends, acquaintances, and fans have been awaiting updates on the ongoing firing case. For those who don’t remember, multiple shots were fired at his Bandra residence in April, while no one was injured, it left netizens shocked. As reported by the Free Press Journal, a new chargesheet of the incident has revealed shocking details.

According to the media publication, Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang issued a bounty of Rs 25 lakh to kill the actor in “Sidhu Moosewala style”. It is to be noted, that the gangster wants to do so due to his longstanding beef with the actor. As per a report by Indian Express, the Bishnoi gang has been targeting Khan ever since he was embroiled in the case for shooting a blackbuck, an antelope species revered by the Bishnoi community, in Rajasthan during the shoot of Hum Saath Saath Hain (1998). The chargesheet states that the Bishnoi gang has been planning to kill the Bajrangi Bhaijaan actor for several months, reportedly from August 2023 to April 2024, and even issued a contract of Rs 25 lakh for the same. They even planned to get weapons and firearms from Pakistan including AK-47s, AK-92s, M16 rifles, and the Turkish-made Zigana pistol, a weapon used to kill Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in 2022. FPJ further reports that, as per the chargesheet, boys under the age of 18 were assigned to assassinate the 58-year-old actor and have been waiting for orders from Goldie Brar and Anmol Bishnoi. The chargesheet adds that about 70 people were assigned to track Salman’s movements. The surveillance network was spread across the city, including Galaxy Apartments, his Mumbai residence, his Panvel farmhouse, and Goregaon Film City. 


For the unversed two individuals on a bike open fired five rounds of bullets at Khan’s residence in Bandra, Galaxy Apartments, on April 14 at 5 am. After the case was registered, the police officials arrested six individuals out of which Anuj Thapan, allegedly committed suicide in a police lock-up on May 1. 

On the work front, Salman Khan will be next seen in AR Murugadoss’ upcoming action flick Sikander alongside Rashmika Mandanna. He also has Vishu Vardhan and Karan Johar’s The Bull in the pipeline. If reports are to be believed he will be collaborating with Shah Rukh Khan, for YRF’s spy thriller Pathaan vs Tiger.
