Shocking! Border Maker J P Dutta Has Not Yet Paid His Paltan!!
It's terrible if you don't get paid for your work. That's exactly what some actors and technicians of J P Dutta's movie Paltan are feeling
We squirm to carry this piece of news against a reputed production house like J P Dutta Films. Dutta is yet to honour full payment to some of his Paltan cast and crew- Gurmeet Choudhary, Siddhant Kapoor and Luv Sinha plus some technicians. Patan, which released in September last year, was a dud at the box-office- but does this give Dutta the license to get away?
According to a source close to the production house, "It has been almost 6 months that the film released--- but the producers have not cleared the dues of few actors and even some daily-wage workers. JP Dutta’s daughter Nidhhi had promised to mend the situation as soon as possible but she has not fulfilled her commitment. Whenever we knock at her door, she requests us to come next time and delays the payment.”

A Still From Paltan
Adds the source, “Zee Studios, who were involved in the film, have already paid the amount which they had to pay to J P Dutta. So, it is Dutta who has to now pay. But Nidhhi is just not interested in finishing off the issue. On the contrary, she and her mother Bindiya Goswami has blocked Team Paltan almost everywhere so that they don’t get to know of their whereabouts."
When contacted, Nidhhi Dutta said, “This is not true. As per the agreement, everyone has been paid their dues.” Added Nidhhi, “Maybe you should get some proof before carrying a story against one of the most reputed banners of the industry.”

A Still From Paltan
So, here's the saboot, Nidhhi. Gurmeet is not in a mood to let go off his hard-earned money. He categorically told us, “My staff and I haven’t received our payments.”
Shatrughan Sinha's son, Luv chose to remain silent and did not deny that he remains shortchanged on Paltan. His PR shot back saying, "No comments."
Shakti Kapoor's son Siddhant too went silent. His publicist though called back to say that they will get back- but the call never came.
