Recently, an old interview of the actress went viral on social media, where while talking about her work ethic, she also recalled how her staff often gets irritated at her because of it. While some lauded her for her views, a section of the internet criticised her for her makeup.

In the throwback video shared by Lehren TV on Instagram, the 49-year-old actress is seen dressed in a shimmery outfit, with long earrings, finger rings, and bracelets. She completed her look with styled hair and heavy makeup. In the video, Shetty expresses how she is never satisfied with her work and strives to do better, which leaves her staff feeling irritated. Quoted by Bollywood Shaadis, she said, “I don't know it's bad or good but I think it’s good that I'm never ever satisfied with the kind of work I'm doing, so that doesn't allow me to stagnate as an actress, as a performer, I always want to better my performances. I'm always striving to do better, better work. So, I would call it a good point, but my staff gets very irritated with me, 'Madam aap toh kabhi satisfied hi nahi ho'. But I will enjoy working. As soon as the video was published on Instagram, netizens rushed to the comment section to troll Shilpa for her makeup. One wrote, “Kitna khatarnaak markup.” Another wrote, “Makeup khud kr lya kia.” Other one wrote, “Kitna heavy mackup krte the phle.” One commented, “Yea lips pr mehndi se border banany ka faishon th kia?” Another commented, “I am looking at her Makeup.. Makeup artist didn't good deal with her.”
