Shekhar Suman Says 'We Died A Thousand Deaths' As News Channel FALSELY Claimed His Son Adhyayan Suman Ended His Life- EXCLUSIVE
A news channel falsely claimed that Shekhar Suman's son Adhyayan Suman died by suicide. Shekhar Suman said that he and his wife Alka were numbed, and devastated until they were able to reach Adhyayan Suman
In a case of extreme carelessness, a news channel, on February 20, declared Shekhar Suman’s actor-son Adhyayan Suman had died of suicide when in fact the 'suicide victim' was hale and hearty. According to Shekhar, this is the worst form of click-baiting callousness. Shekhar Suman said that he and his wife Alka were numbed, and devastated until they were able to reach Adhyayan Suman.
Shekhar Suman said, “When my wife Alka and I heard this we were numbed. Adhyayan was in Delhi and his phone was out of reach. We died a thousand deaths until we reached him. Just announcing to the world that my son has committed suicide…it’s absolutely unpardonable. You can imagine what my wife and I went through.”
Shekhar Suman and his wife had lost another child several years ago. To them being told that their only son is no more was insensitive beyond any boundary.
Shekhar Suman will now take the strictest possible legal action against the offending channel. “They should realize they can’t play with human lives for TRPs. I am taking the maximum legal action against them. Merely an apology won’t do. They have to pay for what they’ve done.”
Shekhar Suman also tweeted about the same and wrote that the news channel acted unpardonably irresponsible, and that the false news devastated him, his wife and his family members. He wrote that Adhyayan was in Delhi when the news surfaced, and Shekhar Suman’s wife was inconsolable as she heard the news at first. He further tweeted that he will be taking legal action against the news channel.
While I'm taking legal action against them and suing them for such a reprehensible act.The media ought to be more responsible and not jeopardize ppl's lives and destroy them for their own vested interest.i request ev one to tweet and ban @ZeeNews
