Shatrughan Sinha Opens Up On Getting Backlash For Supporting KRK, Says, ‘People Said Nasty Things About Me As Well As About Sonakshi Sinha’
Shatrughan Sinha, in a recent interview, shared that he faced backlash from people for extending his support to KRK over his arrest on derogatory tweets against late actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan
Shatrughan Sinha is a legendary Bollywood actor. He has never shied away from putting up his opinion. The veteran actor has been hitting the headlines for supporting Kamaal R Khan aka KRK over his arrest for derogatory Tweets against late actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. In a recent interview, Sinha shared that after extending support to KRK ‘nasty things’ were said about him and his daughter Sonakshi Sinha.
While speaking to ETimes, Shatrughan Sinha mentioned that he received backlash from people many times post supporting KRK. He was quoted saying, "That tweet about KRK received backlash. People said nasty things about me as well as about Sonakshi. I was not talking about his mistakes. We can fight his opinions with our opinions.”
The legendary actor continued, “We don’t have a personal enmity with him. Just because certain stars are against him everyone is against him. But will anyone support him for the way he or many people have been picked up? I think this is a little extreme. Who’s all innocent in the industry? All the wrongdoings of stars haven’t gone unnoticed by the people. We as an industry being a family, sometimes ignore that. That’s a different thing.”
For the unversed, the ‘Vishwanath’ actor had shared series of tweets and demanded justice for the film critic. In his tweets, he called the ‘Deshdrohi’ actor, ‘a self-made man’ and said that he was ‘‘victim of a conspiracy of circumstances.’
Meanwhile, Kamaal recently announced via his Twitter handle that he would not be reviewing films anymore. Vikram Vedha will be his last reviewed film as he is quitting.
