versatile and legendary actors in B-Town, Shashi Kapoor passed away this
evening. He was 79. The legend was admitted to Mumbai's Ambani hospital last
night. The internet is abuzz with condolences from celebs and fans alike who
are mourning the actor's death.
Prime Minister
Narendra Modi too has expressed his thoughts on the sad demise of Shashi
Kapoor. In a tweet, Narendra Modi said, "Shashi Kapoor's versatility could
be seen in his movies as well as in theatre, which he promoted with great
passion. His brilliant acting will be remembered for generations to come.

His elder son,
Kunal, was by his bedside when his end came. His daughter Sanjana and his
younger son Karan rushed as soon as they got the news. Both of them were out of
station when the veteran star breathed his last.
The actor has been
ailing for quite some time and was confined to a wheel chair.
His funeral will
take place tomorrow.
