Shahid Kapoor, Aditi Rao Hydari Get Flak For Their Left-Hand Salute

We're gearing up to celebrate our 69th Independence Day. So can Bollywood be far behind?

Many B-towners have already posted their 'Salute Selfies' on their social networking pages.

But Shahid Kapoor and Aditi Rao Hydari, in their enthusiasm to join the bandwagon, have gone horribly wrong. The actors posted images where they were seen saluting with their left hand.

Errr...don't they know a left-hand salute is considered an insult? Of course, their act hasn't gone down well with a section of their followers.











What's worse, Shahid and Aditi, who posted these images a few days ago, haven't bothered to delete or rectify them yet.

This is not the first time that Bollywood has made a blunder when it comes to national subjects. You may remember how Anushka Sharma and Farhan Akhtar were caught in an embarrassing situation when they misspelled former President APJ Abdul Kalam's name in their condolences (Shocking!
