Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan Faces PLAGIARISM Allegations; Tamil Producers Council Files Complaint Against The Atlee Directorial- Report
Shah Rukh Khan is all set to return to the big screen after a three year gap. While the teaser of Pathaan receives lots of love and accolades from his fans, it seems like his pan-Indian movie Jawan has run into some trouble. The movie’s shooting has already started.

According to a recent report by ETimes, film producer Manikam Narayanan has accused Atlee of plagiarism. As per the complaint filed by the producer, Jawan’s plot coincides with the plot of another Tamil movie, Vijayakanth’s Perarasu, that was released in 2006. The complaint is filed at the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC). ALSO READ: WHAT? The producer claims that both movies have the same story. The reason for the complaint is unclear. If reports are to be believed, SRK will be seen in a double role in Jawan, just like Vijayakanth played double roles in Perarasu. However, one of the characters in Jawan will be an army officer, which differs from the Tamil movie. If reports are to be believed, TFPC will be investigating the complaint after November 7 and sharing their input on the allegations.

This is not the first time Director Atlee has been accused of plagiarism. He has faced such accusations for his films Raja Rani, Theri, Mersal and Bigil with Mouna Ragam, Chathriyan, Aboorva Sagotharagal and Chak De India. Atlee has made a name for himself after delivering three blockbuster hits and has become a famous personality in the showbiz industry. His association with Thalapathy Vijay garnered him a lot of success. ALSO READ: VIRAL!
