Shah Rukh Khan will receive Y+ security from the Mumbai Police in response to his concerns about receiving death threats following the success of Pathaan and Jawan. This upgraded security arrangement will entail a constant presence of six armed security personnel around Mr. Khan, a significant increase from his previous security detail of two personnel. The decision to enhance his security was made by the Maharashtra government after the actor reached out, explaining the threats he had been receiving in the wake of his consecutive blockbuster hits. In the Y+ security category, Shah Rukh Khan will have a contingent of 11 security personnel at his disposal, comprising six commandos, four police officers, and a vehicle for traffic clearance. Furthermore, Mr. Khan's residence, Mannat, will be under the watchful protection of four police officers armed with MP-5 machine guns, AK-47 assault rifles, and Glock pistols. Notably, filmmaker Sanjay Gupta recently took to social media to commend the film Jawan and lauded Mr. Khan for his resolute spirit in facing various challenges, including threats from criminal elements. Under the Maharashtra government's policy, security protection is extended to individuals who are deemed to be at risk of harm or threats to their lives. In these instances, individuals are typically required to either pay a fee or deposit a security amount to access the protective services.
