On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s film "Dunki." His next project, titled "King," is highly anticipated. The film is being produced by Siddharth Anand and Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment, and will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh. Recently, it was revealed that Shah Rukh will portray a Don in "King," a character with shades of grey similar to his iconic role in the "Don" series.

Shah Rukh Khan is likely to begin shooting for "King" later this year. The actor recently discussed his return to the film set while speaking on Star Sports' "Knight Club’s King Khan Rules." He mentioned that the previous year was particularly busy with three major film releases: "Pathaan," "Jawan," and "Dunki." These projects kept him continuously occupied. Given the physical demands of his roles, Shah Rukh decided to take a break to focus on his IPL cricket team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
