Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer upcoming thriller ‘Pathaan’ is one of the most highly-awaited movies of 2023 for obvious reasons. The Siddharth Anand directorial has been in the headlines ever since it went on floors and now when the film is inching closer to its release, there is much excitement among fans. While the trailer of Pathaan shows SRK in a never before seen avatar, the actor has charged a whopping amount for his action-packed role. Speaking of this, we bring to you the fees Shah Rukh, Deepika, and the other cast of the film charged.

According to media reports, the Diwale actor, who is making his comeback after a gap of 4 years with this film, will be seen performing high-octane action stunts. SRK has left no stone unturned to perfect his role in ‘Pathaan’ and he has reportedly charged a whopping Rs. 100 crores as remuneration for playing the character of Pathaan. Yes, you read that right! In fact, the 57-year-old actor is also entitled to a share in the profit. The report added that Deepika, who is playing the main female lead in the film, charged more than Rs 15 crore. She will be seen essaying the role of an undercover soldier who joins hands with SRK in a mission to save the country. Reportedly, John Abraham, who plays the villain in Pathaan, has charged a high amount of Rs 20 crore for the film. Siddharth Anand, who directed the film took fees of Rs 6 crore. Talking about Salman Khan’s special cameo, the Tiger Zinda Hai actor reportedly refused to take any money and played his special role for free.

On a related note, ‘Pathaan’ which is the fourth installment in the YRF Spy Universe, is scheduled to be released on January 25, coinciding with Republic Day weekend.
