Deepti Naval Undergoes Angioplasty After Suffering A Heart Attack; Says 'I Will Be Going Back A Happier Person'

Chashme Buddoor (1981) actress Deepti Naval is said to have suffered a heart attack. If the latest reports are to be believed, the veteran actress suffered a heart attack on Sunday and was rushed to a local hospital in Manali. She was then shifted to Fortis Hospital in Mohali where she is said to have undergone an Angioplasty. The operation reportedly took place on Tuesday. The actress is believed to be spending the lockdown days in her cottage in Himachal Pradesh.

Doctors at Fortis Hospital, Mohali revealed to news agency IANS that the actress' health is stable and she will be discharged soon. "Yes, I was at the Fortis in Chandigarh, and had a small procedure which was done due to a health hazard. It’s being very well taken care of. I was admitted on Sunday night and should be discharged on Tuesday evening. I will be going back a happier person,” she said to Mumbai Mirror. Deepti who has appeared in many hit films like Kissi Se Na Kehna, Mirch Masala and more has been sharing some pretty pictures from her stay in Himachal Pradesh on social media.

It was post the death of Sushant Singh Rajput that the actress had opened up about suffering from anxiety issues and having suicidal thoughts in the past. She had poured her out in a Facebook post that read, "Dark days these . . . So much has been happening - mind has come to a point of stillness . . . or rather numbness. Today I feel like sharing a poem I wrote back in the years when I was fighting depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts - fighting hard - and like how! Let me find the courage to share these very personal thoughts with you all today."
