Bollywood’s most loved couple, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are all set to walk down the aisle today, on April 14. Needless to say, all eyes are on this big fat wedding with paparazzi and media stationed at the wedding venue to get all the inside updates for fans. Ranbir-Alia will get married in an intimate wedding ceremony, in fact, pre-wedding festivities have been kept closely guarded and away from the media glare. As per the latest reports, privacy is being maintained at the wedding because its telecast rights have been sold to an OTT giant.
Surprised right! As per the Bollywoodlife report, the wedding of Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor will be streamed on an OTT platform in the coming months. Not just this, the couple has been given a hefty amount for selling their wedding rights to an OTT platform. Reportedly, the rights have been sold for a whopping amount, between Rs 90-110 crores. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the same. The report added that the Rockstar actor’s net worth is around Rs 330 crores. He charges over Rs 50 crore per project and Alia, on the other hand, takes between Rs 5-8 crores per film and around Rs 1-2 crore from a brand endorsement. The couple’s combined net worth is somewhat around Rs. 500 crores.
Notably, last night post-Mehendi function, while confirming the wedding, Neetu Kapoor told the paparazzi, “Mai kya bolu uske baare mein. She (Alia) is the best.” Her daughter Riddhima added, “Bahot cute hai yaar, bahot Sweet, cute, doll jaisi hai (She is very sweet and cute, like a doll).” Later, she confirmed the wedding saying, “haan wedding Kal hai Vastu mai.”
