Satish, who is an avid social media user, took to Twitter to reveal that he overheard a racist comment made about him when he was traveling back to India. The senior actor mentioned a few officials at UK's Heathrow airport couldn’t believe that he could afford the tickets to first class.
Taking to his Twitter handle, the Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actor tweeted, “I replied with a proud smile “because we are Indians” after I overheard the Heathrow staff wonderingly asking his mate”how can they afford 1st class?.” The Heathrow Airport was quick to take note of the actor’s tweet and replied saying, “Good morning, we're sorry to hear about this encounter. May you DM us?.” Many fans flocked to the comments section of Shah’s tweet and applauded him. One user commented, “Sir smile is ok but you should have replied “we have enough money and resources even after 200 years of loot by Brits.”
