Saroj Khan Death: Ganesh Acharya Expresses Grief Over Late Choreographer’s Demise: ‘I Feel Immense Sorrow’
Legendary Bollywood choreographer Saroj Khan is no more. She passed away after suffering a cardiac arrest early this morning. Having had a career span of 40 years, she choreographed over 2,000 songs and worked with Bollywood’s most popular actors such as Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi, Malaika Arora, among others. Social media was flooded with posts of celebrities as well as fans mourning the ace choreographer’s demise. Now, choreographer Ganesh Acharya also expressed his grief over her death.

Ganesh Acharya took to his Instagram and shared a picture of Saroj Khan, and wrote that her presence will forever be in our hearts. He wrote, “May you rest in peace Saroj ji, your presence will always be with us in our heart. I feel immense sorrow while writing this down because we’ve lost one the greatest legends.” Ganesh Acharya and Saroj Khan had not been on the best terms, and it was in January this year that Saroj Khan had accused him of using his position to manipulate dancers and to malign the Cine Dancers’ Association (CDA).

While speaking with Mumbai Mirror, Saroj Khan had said, "Ganesh has been badmouthing CDA all over the industry and poaching its dancers by promising more money. They are dividing the dance community Ganesh has his own people take the posts in the new association.”

This matter escalated further and after certain allegations leveled against Ganesh Acharya, he had later accused Saroj Khan of conspiring against him and maligning his image.
