Sara Ali Khan Spills The Beans On Her 9 Months In Lockdown; 'Made Me Realise That Waking Up Every Morning With My Mother Makes Me Happy'
Sara Ali Khan is soon to be seen in Coolie No 1. She'll be sharing the screen space with Varun Dhawan in this film helmed by David Dhawan. The promotions are on, meanwhile she has also started work on her next film with Akshay Kumar titled Atrangi Re. Just like all of us, it is a totally different experience for the stars to be back of the sets amidst the deadly pandemic. Likewise, it was also difficult for them to be at home, not working, during the lockdown. In her recent interview, Sara Ali Khan opened up on the same.

In an interview with Mid-day, Sara revealed that being at home was tough and she also felt a little relieved when she made it back on sets to shoot. "I won't deny that it's difficult to be on [the floors] now. But eventually, I was relieved to return to the sets [after a break]. Maintaining social distance, wearing masks and adhering to [safety protocols] have changed the way we function, but the passion is the same," she was quoted saying.

The actress revealed that she had a long list of things that she wanted to do and thought would make her feel happy. However, the lockdown had made her realise that waking up next to her mom is what actually makes her happy. She was quoted saying, "Sitting at home for nine months can be difficult for someone as ambitious as me, but there's a learning in everything. I used to have 500 things on my to-do list, believing that [achieving them] will make me happy. The lockdown made me realise that waking up every morning with my mother [Amrita Singh] makes me happy."
