Sara Ali Khan and mother Amrita Singh have approached the Dehradun police staking claims on a property worth crores
Sara Ali Khan is on a career high with her first two projects- Kedarnath and Simmba earning praises from the masses and critics alike. Now, she’s in the headlines for some other reason. So, Sara along with her mother Amrita Singh have approached the Dehradun police for a property worth crores. The mother-daughter duo reached Clementown police station on Saturday noon staking claim at the 16,000 square feet property that’s worth crores.
A police official told News18 on the condition of anonymity, “Amrita’s maternal uncle Madhusudan Bimbet lived in Dehradun’s disputed property as the suit over the title is pending in court. On Saturday he died of cancer. Amrita came to Doon with Sara Ali, cremated her maternal uncle’s body and then both allegedly entered the bungalow."

On Saturday he died of cancer. Amrita came to Doon with Sara Ali, cremated her maternal uncle’s body and then both allegedly entered the bungalow."
Madhusudan’s caretaker Khusiram also approached the police stating that Amrita’s maternal uncle had locked the property so that nobody could enter. “Nevertheless, none came to see Madhusudan when he needed most and after he died suddenly these people have turned up claiming property belong to them,” says Dhirendra Semal, a close friend of Amrita’s maternal uncle.
Reports suggest that both the parties may approach court over the property dispute.
