Sanjay Leela Bhansali Tests Negative For COVID-19; Director To Resume Gangubai Kathiawadi Shoot After Completing Quarantine Period
The COVID-19 cases are rapidly rising despite vaccine coming in. Apart from the commoners, stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Manoj Bajpayee and many have been diagnosed with the deadly virus. Even filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali contracted Coronavirus and was under quarantine. Due to this, the shooting of Gangubai Kathiawadi came to a halt. However, after treatment, the filmmaker has now tested negative for COVID-19 and will resume the Gangubai Kathiawadi shooting after completing his quarantine period. It was reported that before being diagnosed with the virus, the director was shooting with actor Ajay Devgn.

According to the latest reports in BollywoodHungama, a source claimed that SLB will return only after completing the mandatory quarantine period. That’s not it, he will also refrain from meeting his mother Leela Bhansali who has also taken the Coronavirus test. “It is the best thing to do. Sanjay doesn’t want to return until the mandatory quarantine period. He won’t even meet his mother until the period of quarantine is over. But he can see her from the balcony of his office where he’s quarantined since their residence is bang opposite and they wave to each other whenever they miss one another,” says a source to the portal.

After Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Alia’s boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor both contracted the virus, it was earlier being reported that Alia Bhatt has also quarantined herself.

Meanwhile, Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Leela Bhansali have collaborated again after 22 years. Ajay Devgn shared about the same on his social media, and wrote, “Back on Sanjay’s set after two decades; feels good!”
