It’s legendary actress Nargis’ 39th death anniversary today. Nargis ruled the silver screen during her time, and she starred in numerous notable films including Mother India, Barsaat, Shree 420, and Andaz. The iconic actress died of pancreatic cancer in the year 1981, just days before her son Sanjay Dutt’s first movie, Rocky, was to be released. Now on her 39th death anniversary today, Sanjay Dutt remembered his mother and shared an emotional note expressing how much he misses her every day.
Sanjay Dutt took to his social media account and shared an old monochromatic picture of him with his mother Nargis. Sanjay Dutt looks quite young in the throwback picture, and he can be seen intently listening to something Nargis was telling him, in the candid snap. Expressing his emotions, Sanjay Dutt captioned the picture, “It's been 39 years since you left us but I know you're always by my side. I wish you were here with me, today and every day. Love you and miss you every day, Mom."
