Sanjay Dutt Releases An Official Statement Putting All His Political Career Rumours To Rest; Says, Won’t Join Politics
Sanjay Dutt has finally put all the rumours to rest with his latest official statement. News of the actor joining a political party had surfaced on the internet. Several reports online predicted about the Prasthanam actor joining Rashtriya Samaj Paksha party. However, the actor is no mood to prove it true. The actor’s statement read, "I will not be joining any political party, Mr Jankar is a dear friend and brother of mine and I humbly wish him good luck for his future endeavours." Let’s decode why it was so easy to believe in this news.

Firstly the Rashtriya Samaj Paksha party founder and cabinet minister Mahadev Jankar is a close friend of the actor.  Secondly, if this news had to be true, then the actor has tried his hands in politics around ten years ago. He did actively join Samajwadi Party from Uttar Pradesh, however, he never succeeded and hence decided to concentrate on his acting career thoroughly. RSP party is an ally of the ruling party BJP from the state of Maharashtra.

Dutt family has always been an active participant of the Indian political scenario. Sanjay’s sister Priya Dutt was defeated by Poonam Mahajan in 2019 Lok Sabha election with 1,30,000 votes. Whereas, his father late actor Sunil Dutt was an MP and in a ruling position for five years, representing Mumbai North West Constituency when he worked for the Congress party.

Meanwhile, the actor is geared up for the release of his next Prasthanam which is a political thriller set to release on September 20, 2019.
