Sanjay Dutt Left Embarrassed As Khalnayak Director Subhash Ghai Teases Him With Madhuri Dixit’s Name At A Recent Celebration
Sanjay Dutt was one of the boldest actors of his time. In an era where actors preferred starring as the good-hearted lead heroes who always save the day, he took up characters with grey shades. He made a name for himself in the entertainment industry because of his versatile performances. Recently he attended the celebration bash of his iconic movie Khalnayak completing 30 years, along with director Subash Ghai and many others.

On Monday, the actor, the director as well as Alka Yagnik, Jackie Shroff, Ila Arun, Ali Asgar and many more attend the celebration. It was an amazing event as the netizens saw the beloved cast reunite to celebrate the 1993 flick. It was during an interactive session with the media when Ghai teased Dutt about his alleged ex-girlfriend Madhuri Dixit, the leading lady of the film who was missing from the celebration, leaving the actor embarrassed.

The showman of the industry was talking about how the 64-year-old actor was more confident in the movie than him, especially when he had his “moments of nervousness.” Quoted by India.com, Ghai went on to teasingly explain, “Yeh bolta tha ‘yeh picture bahot door tak jayegi’ par dekhta tha Madhuri ki taraf.” While this made everyone burst out laughing, the KGF: Chapter 2 actor didn’t know how to react.

For those who don’t know, it was heavily reported that Dutt and Dixit had started dating when they were working on the film. While they were head over heels in love with each other, their relationship went through a rough patch after he was arrested in the 1993 Mumbai Bomb Blast case. They reunited on-screen decades later for the Abhishek Varman directorial Kalank as they essayed crucial roles in the movie. Co-starring Sonakshi Sinha, Alia Bhatt. Aditya Roy Kapur and Varun Dhawan, the movie failed to impress the audiences and the critics.
